Per molti il giorno del matrimonio è il giorno più bello della vita, probabilmente secondo solo a quello della nascita di un figlio o di una figlia.

Siamo a Oldcastle, contea di Meath, in Irlanda dove si sta celebrando il matrimonio tra Chris e Leah O’Kane.

Ad un certo punto, finito il coro di cantare, Padre Ray Kelly prende il microfono ma, invece di iniziare a celebrare il rito, fa ciò che nessuno si sarebbe mai immaginato…. (guarda il video)……

Padre Ray Kelly intona l’Hallelujah di Leonard Cohen resa famosa e immortale dalla versione da brividi di Jeff Buckley lasciando a bocca aperta sposi ed invitati, increduli da ciò che hanno visto e sentito.

In religioso silenzio (e ci mancherebbe altro) gli invitati e gli sposini ascoltano commossi. E alla fine scatta spontaneo l’applauso, per un regalo che Lea e Chris non dimenticheranno mai.
